How does the weaning feature work?

During the first months of your baby’s development, SNOO gently rocks your baby to sleep and soothes her cries by choosing the right level of motion. Once your baby is sleeping and calm, SNOO remains at a gentle Baseline level of all night sound and motion.  The Weaning feature eases your baby off the all-night motion to prepare her for transition to a crib.

When SNOO is in Weaning mode, it will not produce any motion in the Baseline level but will still play white noise. If your baby cries, SNOO will respond normally with both motion and white noise until your baby is soothed, and return to Baseline.
